It is in charge of welcoming the public in some hundred or so monuments belonging to the State; eight of them are located in Paris or the greater Paris area: l'Arc de Triomphe, les tours et la crypte archéologique de Notre-Dame, la Conciergerie, la Sainte-Chapelle, le Panthéon, la basilique Saint-Denis et le château de Vincennes.
These monuments are open every day except on 1st January, 1st May, 1st and 11th November and 25th December.
Free access for
school groups and children under 7. Reduced rates for young people, students,
senior citizens and groups over 25 people. A sales counter and book shop in each
monuments. Everyday, lectures and visits around Paris: monuments, museums, old
quarters, mansion houses, etc...
