*Ancy le Franc*

The Château d'Ancy le Franc is the only Italian Renaissance palace built in France. Built in the 16th century for Antoine de Clermont, Count of Tonnerre, by the famous architect Serlio and decorated by prestigious painters - notably Nicolo dell'Abbate - it welcomed three French kings with sumptuous feasts: Henri IV, Louis XIII, and Louis XIV.


*Châteauneuf*

Open every day from April 1st to September 30th, visits at 9:30, 10:30, 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, (and 6:00 in June, July, and August). From October 1st to March 31st (except Tuesday and Wednesday), visits at 10:00, 11:00, 2:00, 3:00. Closed May 1st, November 1st, November 11th, December 25th and January 1st. Château-fort was given to Phillip Pot by the king after his châtelaine poisoned her husband. Remodeled in the XVIIth century, it has a chapel with rare wall paintings. The site and the village are quite remarkable.

The grottos of Arcy have been evolving since the dawn of time. Discover the wonders of nature in the heart of the earth during a 900 meter hike. priory *Prieuré de Vausse*

Open every day except Tuesday from 2:00 to 7:00 from June 15th to September 15th. Groups on appointment. Phone: 03.86.82.87.28

Founded by Anseric VI of Montréal, this Cistercian priory is found in the center of the Forest of Châtel-Gérard. The sober cloister and chapel date from the XIIIth century.
